Due to difficulties experienced in the past, we would prefer our students not to attend any other schools for dance or drama training. These split loyalties cause issues in competitions and performances due to conflicting commitments and schedules. If your child already attends another school please discuss this with the Principal before registering.
Please note the details given to us on this registration form will be used only for our information to be able to assign you to the correct class, to send invoices and to enable The Centre to contact you when required. This information is stored on our computer database system which can only be accessed by the teachers and The Centre administration staff . We use the information to provide our services to you and to keep you informed. Should any of your details change, please contact us.
ISTD and LAMDA are our examining bodies. If we enter your child for exams, we will disclose certain details about your child. This will include their full name, date of birth, ethnic origin (to ensure equal opportunities) and any additional medical information (so the examiner is aware if needed).
Your personal details are your property and apart from the instances listed above, we do not disclose your details to anyone. Classes cancelled due to examinations or teacher absence will be refunded or an alternative lesson arranged.
Classes cancelled due to ‘force majeure’ will not be refunded or rearranged. The Centre is unable to refund missed classes but it may be possible to arrange ‘catch up’ classes, Zoom drop ins, or videos of class work missed.
The Avril Earl Dance & Theatre Arts Centre provides training in all aspects of dance and drama for all ages.
Students are required to give a term’s written notice if they wish to withdraw from classes. Failure to inform the school of withdrawal will result in the student being liable to pay for the terms fees. Invoices are to be settled at the start of each term or by standing order as agreed with the office.
I give permission to take photographs and / or video of my child. I grant full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve The Centre’s aims. This may include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in printed and online publicity, social media, and press releases.
